use mapsource to install maps and supplied keygen
If you want to run mapsource from a DVD heres how
install to your pc and use a keygen to unlock the map
run regedit end export hklm\software\garmin and export hkcu\software\garmin
now open exported files in notepad and find and replace all instances of "C:\" with "x:\" x being your dvd drive letter
burn your c:\garmin folder to dvd so the dvd has the garmin folder in the root
